Parking
#3
Truck stops, vacant lots, etc., Just be sure to work things out with the owner. I used to have a small strip mall where I would sometimes park. I left a phone number along with my name taped to a piece of paper on the driver's side window. The property was sold and the new owner didn't want trucks to park there any more. He was cordial and appreciated my leaving my name and phone number. I stated that I owned the truck and if it needed to be moved to call me and I would move it promptly. We left on good terms. There may be some lots or property where you can pay the owner to park when you are home. I have seen some who will allow truckers to park for $10/day or $100/month. A bit pricey for a truck, but it is there property and they make the rules. I don't know what part of New York you live, but there aren't an abundance of truck stops in the state. There are some places upstate where you could probably park. Steve lives in New Hampshire and I believe he is paying a storage facility to park his truck. It is worth a try.
