Default Quitest softest riding O/O truck

Wife and I are a team and contemplating buying our own truck we drive a company T2000 great riding truck but is noisy in the slightest wind. I am wondering what the best team truck is in everyone's opinion. I realize im going to get a variety of answers but I am open to any suggestions. We just want to be comfortable.

If that's your only concern, get a Volvo!

my w900 rides real nice and gets close to 6mpg, could do more if I kept it under 75 and the sleeper has plenty of room for a couple to live comfortably on the road.

wheelbase plays a sizable role in ride comfort, i`m over 300 inchs but anything over 260 should ride pretty nice.

If you want a truck that is quiet and comfortable, I would go with a Volvo. Depending on the year and what you plan on pulling, I would probably go with a 770 or 780. If weight is more of a concern then you could go with a 660. Fuel mileage seems to be fairly good on Volvo, as well.

As mentioned above, Volvo probably has the best overall ride, fuel mileage, and profitability. They might not get the best vote for styling, but they have definately made there statement with comfort and profitability. My dad has a Freightliner Coronado, and they are very comfortable to ride in and they also have nice looks, interior, and fuel mileage. I hope to get a pic of it up soon. The old school Pete's and KW's have too lil room for my taste in the front cab, but they are some real lookers.

Mine's a Volvo. Wouldn't want to drive anything else. That's my opinion of course. Drive safe everyone.

I like a Volvo. I don't know why I have never purchase one. I suppose it is because I have always gotten a better deal on a different brand. I think one reason I have not bought one is that I didn't want to buy a Cummins engine, and that is mostly what you find in Volvo. After this last deal with my KW and CAT, I almost wish that I had a Cummins in it.

I would go with the Volvo 780, or the Pete 387, both are very nice riding, and suprisingly quite. I have a T600 now, and I will be trading for one or the other about mid March
