Arizona seems to be a pretty hot market for produce. It is a hit or a miss too.Last friday i got loaded to OH around 2.50 a mile with only 13 pallets of lettuce.Other friends of mine missed the boat big time and got loaded cheaper. That's the best paying load so far this year.Produce season is expected to kick in high gear for the next months so i hope to continue like this until June, July.Nothing is solid though.Fuel is up again and continues to go higher.I wonder how much higher.Hopefully this whole economy will pick up much more solidly and something out of it.

yep. rates are up alot. I thought it was the end of the first quarter that made the freight spike but this week is busy too. We've been running our tails off.....I've been too busy to post. we'll see if it holds.

my freight lanes have died. I have been offered freight, just not the places I want to go right now. there are some local places I used to run that have dropped 80% of that they used to have us haul. talked to other carriers & no one is doing what they did just a month ago. It looks like I may have to run outside my usual freight lanes. been offered lots of long freight into MI OH, e.t.c.

My only resevation about going anywhere than ny local runs, is just had my inframe done & want to break it in & make sure all the bugs are worked out. had a couple minor things that had me take it back to shop,& then I had great loads after that, so no reason to go anywhere else. now if monday thru tues eve dont look good I'll take something else. ben offered a lot of bedford heights o.h. & reload out of delts oh. or detroit MI with reload out of monroe mi. all loads start from where I live & return loads unload where I live also. the only deadhead would be from OH OR MI to get my return load.
