Btw.... what kind of hometime will you get now? Hope it keeps the accountant "happy!" :lol2:

I'm still jumping through their stupid hoops, they require 4 days in their "school" and then the insurance requires a week of training:roll:
hometime out of Chattanooga is supposed to be every 3-5 days. a welcome change from 3-5 weeks
they are supposed to call me in the morning and make arrangements to get a compressor put on my truck while I "train"

Good luck landing a new gig. Sucks that ya have to wait and go through their training, but it could be worse. The hometime looks like a BIG change from your normal operating routine. Can you stay out longer if ya want and the work is there?

they say they have a lot of Canada runs out of Memphis, so maybe next spring I will consider doing some of that
I spoke to one guy who does it regular and he said it averages 3.50 a mile

Sounds like things are working out for you. That's very good. Losing a job in a tough economy can be hard on someone, as we both know.

Don't they have a terminal in Tiftonia? Is that where you will be doing your training?
