Running loads into canada?? what do you know about it???

Getting regular freight out of Canada requires making actual contacts. Going in hoping to find something on the boards isn't going to pan out very often...there just isn't much freight posted. And that's just to get ANY load. Let alone, one that pays. If you can get enough to make it work by deadheading out, you might try and hope to make some contacts in the process. Down the road it could turn out fairly lucrative, but the odds are against you.

Pretty big outfit, I think. I've seen their loads posted but I've never actually worked with them.

Yep. I have moved I suppose 20-30 loads with them. Usually the Montreal office. They have a couple of different locations I think. I like using them because they have their ducks in a row. There have been mix ups but it's been because of the job site (consignee). They have always paid detention.

Thanks rank. It means a lot when an old timer says good about a compnay.
I got my insurance squared away and now waiting to finalze of details. IF.... AND MAJOR if, all goes as should I will be out and about on my own soon. If not, I am a company driver and will stay that way LOL |
