Should I get a Power Harness for my Cat Diesel - no throttle
I am thinking about buying one. My buddy said a friend of his has one and it works great but I aint never heard of it before. I checked out the site and the performance harness site looked to be legit. Has anyone ever used a Platinum Performance Power Harness in their truck? if so, I'd like to know so I can get some mor recommendations before buying it. :?:

I have used the hays performance harness on my c-12. I have had it on and off several times to really see how much difference it makes. It helps low end power from about 1200 rpm to about 1400 rpm. But it causes a lot of smoke in the process. I like the performance change but not all the smoke. I don’t know if there is any long term consequences to having so much smoke, also asked the question on the forum and got no response about damage to the injectors or other engine components. Also my mileage was down to about 5.2 mpg. I don’t run the harness now, I just couldn’t stand all the smoke! !
