Just FYI Rev,
When I bought my truck it had a 5,000 watt selfcontained air cooled diesel genset on it. They had it sitting on a frame rack. There was no way for them to keep fuel in it because of the small fuel tank. They drilled a hole in the fuel tank cap and sealed it shut with blue gasket silicone. Then they placed a small plastic tank on the catwalk,ran a hose down to the fitting on the fuel cap,...and walla. Everytime they filled it up the fuel tank, it would overflow from somewhere on the cap,..until the plastic tank was empty. The unit ran but it was horribly loud and shook the crap out of the truck. I hope your system is going to work out better than the one that was on mine.
