I don't understand why anyone would get drunk and get behind the wheel of an 18 wheeler. It is bad enough in a 4 wheeler, but it seems when something such as this happens the innocent people are the ones who get injured. The drunk driving the offending vehicle seems to wind up with few or no injuries. I would imagine he would be criminally charged. This guy has affected two families with his careless actions.

Oh my god I'm so sorry to hear that. I could accept an accident and be able to deal with it but that was caused by someones carelessness. Totally preventable. I hope he spends the rest of his life locked up.

I'll be praying for your family.

My hubbie was heading west on Hwy.287 out of Wichita Falls,Tx
What day was this?

I stopped in Wichita Falls Friday at the Loves, to send a trippak between 10 and 10:30 AM, then headed west myself.

I'm sorry for your loss.
I run thru Coleman all the time and see ATS, Combined, and Trinity Ind. trucks sitting at the motels. I run flatbed out of Sweetwater and I am considering a lease to ATS for that Coleman tower account.

You are still part of the trucking family. Keep in touch.
