Things are looking up
- Got a 2 CPM raise in January
- Fixed the FSC - Now have cost plus fuel at Flying J, Pilot, Petro, and T/A as opposed to 4 cents off - Switched to revenue (79%) June 1st (effectively wiping out first two items) - First oversize load today, 12 foot wide, going to Iowa - Driver of the month for April Yeehaw Last edited by allan5oh; 06-03-2011 at 01:24 AM.

I've recently change to add a bonus system based on width...interested in seeing how others do it. Legal: $.38/mile 8'-7" to 10" = $.38 + $.13 10'-1" - 12'-0" = $.38 + $.26 12' -1" - 14' - 0" = $.38 + $.39

That's about what it should be for a company driver. I get 79% of revenue, these loads don't pay very well really. In fact on our mileage contract with a legal load you'll get about the same. However my MPG dropped from 7.5 to 5. So that means my fuel cost went up about 25 CPM. I'll more than make up for it northbound. Funny how legal loads going north pay far better than oversize going south. The unit is a seeder. PM me if you want more info.
When I was on mileage I told them no oversize loads. They pay 10 CPM up to 10 feet, 15 CPM to 12 feet, 25 CPM to 14 feet wide. I think they tweaked that schedule a bit, but it really isn't that good for an o/o. I say they should be 3X that, at least. |
