My problem with TQL, besides that most of the phone handlers are recent college grads with no trucking experience and can never answer a question without consulting a superior, is that they post the same one load eight different ways, so you never know where the load is actually picking up. I've had mixed success with their rates over the last few years. With non-specialized (box, reefer, flat) freight, I find them to almost always be at or near the bottom of the market. Then again, one time last year they paid me over $6.30 a mile for a load that I really didn't want to haul and they were desperate to move. I've had my best luck with step-deck LTL rates from them.
In summary, they are usually not at the top of my call list when looking at loads.

Say what you will, but this is a very competitive business and in a relatively short time, they reached almost the top. They do seem to be playing less games now though, I.E. finding cheaper trucks and cancelling loads.
We do quite a bit with them.

I deal a lot with them on and off and today they pissed me off. I had short lil run to get driver back home they wanted to pay $300 at first on (140 miles) and I politely ask if could go $350 and they said let me check with customer and I will call you back. Well they did but then they called back they said oh we only want to pay $240, I was like WTF!!! I had come home empty, they made me mad lol.

your not the only one
This story is about TQL (TQL - Total Quality Logistics, Freight Brokerage Services) and what I had to deal with to get the load, from a drivers stand point. Feel free to share your story good or bad in comments below.
https://youtu.be/J69TchJDskY If your in the trucking industry you know all to well about brokers. Most of them that I have over the years have been alright. There has been some loads that have had there problems. I hope that none of you drivers have to put up with this Broker. It sounds like this happens more than it should.
