Hello,

I'm trying to find a solution for keeping my load info, drivers pay , invoices, etc organized. I have been using quickbooks and an excel spreadsheet. Now what I have 3 trucks on the road, that's getting a little messy. With one truck it was not a big deal.

I would like some ideas on what ya'll are using?

Also, does anyone have a good "drivers log" sheet for state miles and fuel info to make the IFTA process a little easier.

I have known some who use Quickbooks Pro and seem to like it. A couple that I have used are Trucknpro www.trucknpro.com and Easy Trucking www.easytrucking.com . If you want to do your payroll along with all of your other bookkeeping shores then you may want to check out Truckers Helper www.truckershelper.com. Trucknpro will do do the miles by state but not the actual calculations. Easy Trucking will do everything including invoicing. Truckershelper has several versions from the driver to fleet owner. I believe it will also do the actual IFTA calculations for you to file. I think that trucknpro is the simplest and easiest one to use. Truckers Helper is a bit more complex but should do everything you need as will Easy Trucking. I believe all three offer a discount to OOIDA members. You should find a demo online with all three. There are others of varying cost and complexity on the market. These are three of those I prefer. I have not checked the cost on these in a while but I believe the cost runs from about $125-$395.

5 months ago when I was researching on different software to get, more people from different boards leaned more towards Easy Trucking.It does it all just like the rest.I have no experience with it but for $179 it beats the rest.If you do get Easy Trucking I hope on calling you to find out how it is working for you.I feel pro miles is over priced with the Updated CDs they have to send you, and because of the change in the quarterly rate code for each state.It is better to have a sofware you can used locally(off your local machine) rather than off the internet.

give this a try. 14 day trial, and you'll see what id does. very comprehensive, and easy to understand. I watched this software grow from the very early stages. It's written by a current truck driver on his off time, and does the job it needs to. cheap too, i think it's like $100...
