Maybe Gale Trucking does not have motor carrier authority, or maybe it's a forum username only.
If you're not being paid to haul them, I would guess title, bill of sale, proof of insurance, maybe a temp tag would get you home. That's the way I recently drove home a newly-purchased tractor from out-of-state. If you're hauling a "stack" of flats, it will appear more like you are doing it for hire, even if you're not, IMO.

Not in the safer system due to my dot number bein inactive for several years. and no there would be no payment to haul them,, said we could even write a bill of sale to my name so they wold be my freight. thats what i was thinkin, title , bill of sale, proper insurance, tri permits and fule permits should do the trick,,, any more help is appreciated, have had several trucks in the past but not in bout 7 years, thanks again,

I would think that if you were transporting your own equipment you had just purchased home that it would not be a problem. You will likely need a temporary tag for the truck to avoid problems with the scales. If you have questions, you may want to contact a near by scale or DMV.
