tripac tips?
well got mine over a week now and LOVE IT. at first i thought it was loud but.. its only for the first 30 seconds or so. then you barely know its running. i'm blown away with the heater. this thing is incredible! the "tick tick " sound from the heater really is nice white noise to go to sleep. i do have a few questions:
1: how exactally is "null" mode put on? i read somewhere to put the temp down to 50 but make sure the heat/ac/fan is not lit up and same with the fan speed. but i read somewhere else it does not matter on the temp just as long as the hvac/fan speed is not lit up. 2: do you leave the switch in standby or normal? leaving it in normal does it mess things up always going from "on" to standby? 3: when in standby is it wise to shut the pad off totally? thanks

1 - Not sure what you mean by "null" mode, but if you mean the mode where the unit will only come on to charge up your batteries after they deplete over time, the only lights you want on are Main Power and APU. In fact, you'll always want those lights on.
2 - If by switch you mean the optional dash switch that lets you force the unit into standby so your unit doesn't start up at an inopportune time, that is what it is for. 3 - You should almost never shut off the unit entirely -- leave the Main Power and APU buttons lit and it will come on periodically to keep your batteries from losing charge. Thus, when you come back from a weekend off you never have to worry about your truck starting. Good luck, Jim
