Cool Well....a very nice cop!!!

Last week on friday i was heading home after a 6 day run. After being kind of late i had to make it back to phoenix before saturday morning at 6 am so i can make it back to my national guard drill. So, 4 hours before phoenix, around mile marker 340(near that TA) i get pulled over by a DOT officer because my mudflap is hanging. After showing him my logbook, paperwork ,he discovered that i fudged my logs. And i did.Anyways, when he first asked me ,i just told the truth ,no BS stories and he really appreciated it.After talking to him,he told hell put me out of service for 10 hrs and because i was honest he would not give a me ticket, around 600.
Being honest about it,paid off big time.I know,i really hate playing with my logs but sometimes i have to.And i don't think i'm alone in this.By the way?How many of you guys do it?....Just curios

yep use to call log book Comic book back in 90's before changes in 2003. With all the new log auditing software being run now since 2003 it has become much harder to get away with fudging the books. Now I just keep it legal.

Swindle Sheets.  I havent heard that one in a long time.

A friend of mine, which is a State Trooper goes to our church. He told me once that of all of the drivers he's talked to (both 4-wheelers and truckers) the truck drivers are the most respectful, and the most truth-telling. He also said that he can tell if he's talking to a truck driver that just happens to be in his 4-wheeler, even before looking at his license.
