Just wondering what is considered a normal charge to pay to a company that you are leased to?
Aside from paying 10-12% from the loads, is there an obligation to pay for a cargo insurance also, or that is a responsibility of a company that you are leased to!
And of course what else?
Not in this business, just wondering, couple of friends are discussing this, so I was thinking to ask on forum!?

 

Normally, it's the other way around! Just kidding. I got 72% of gross, so i'm paying 28% to the company. They provide everything else, except fuel, truck and physical ins. on it. Most importantly, that includes a customer base, and every week pay.

 

It all depends on what 's in the contract, could be ANYTHING

There’s a lot of people who post on CAD who claim to be something they aren’t. I love outing the posers. I don’t know why Hobo would bother with somebody who is claiming to NOT be something that he or she might be, other than he’s bored and it was too easy.

You have to admit that the whole “I’m asking for a friend” routine is beyond cliché. The idea that somebody not involved in our industry would bother to take to time to sign up for an account is difficult to believe.
