1 Tanker 2 Flat bed/reefer 3 Dry van

ahem:
1) Oversize/Overweight/Specialized 2) Tanker 3) Flat bed/reefer 4) Dry van But that is really oversimplifying things, a LTL dry van load can and will pay more then all others. A dry van TL going into certain areas will pay very well.

Some containers pay fairly well, but generally containers are at the bottom of the pay scale. I don't see how some of these owner operators earn a living with the rates they are paid.

Any load, in any type of a trailer that you can get DIRECTLY from the shipper, bypassing brokers.
