2010 KW 660 bobtail-19,500, with empty 53ft van-35,000, hauling paper loads-constantly pushing 79,000 or more. I found the sweet spot for the 5th wheel, front quarter flaps at the edge of the front of the trailer, it depends on how it was loaded, I'll be 12,200 on the steers, 33,000 drives and 33,000+ on the trailer at the 40ft mark.

Ok, I checked. It's 17,481 + 440 for the APU, so 17,921lbs. for an '07 387.
I also checked a newer 387 with a Cummins ISX and it's 17,397.

That makes me want a t800 that much more. Detroit with 120 gallon tanks and we're talking 1100 lbs lighter or so. I assume the tanks were full?

To the neck. I do have wide-base tires and a few other lightweight specs. The T8 gives you as much latitude as any truck when it comes to spec'ing.
