What's your strategy for a deep recession/depression?

Kevin Rutherford?? Who's he?? Never heard of him/her. Nevermind I don't care.
Triple Digit Bob, how did you lose two fingers? Turbo 3000!?!?!?! ha ha ha! Wanna buy some "Mamba Oil fuel additive"?? I'll sell ya some at $25/gallon. Improves your lubricity. You should just go and buy all the fuel saving gizmos known to man and then your truck would actually make diesel instead of using it! Dave Ramsey - listened to him when he started in Nashville in the nineties. I'm proud of him that he went nationwide. Good man he is.

Oh on subject post here, when faced with a deep recession I will usually insert my stimulus package after a period of high inflation!

Just make sure you got plenty of supplies on that boat. It could be a long wait....

I just got off the phone with a good friend of mine. He has been running his own authority for over 22 years. He is giving up his authority and leasing on to another carrier. He is tired of paying the high insurance premiums, high fuel and mostly the cheap freight. He thinks that he can do better leasing on to another carrier during these difficult times.

I noticed the fuel prices have come down. I think it would help the economy if the fuel prices continue to fall. Also, I feel like it would help if the price of groceries, and the cost of living would come down.

Some of these stores haven't lowered prices at all. I would imagine that their profits are down to to slower buying by consumers so they are trying to boost profits by keeping prices high. There are also concerns about fuel jumping back up and them playing catch up on prices. Some stores have dropped prices on some items. I believe WalMart has dropped prices on some toys as has Toys R Us. It is difficult to eat a toy. Grocery items seem to be staying high.
