Where to buy a truck with bad credit
Hi there everyone, there are few dealers who sale trucks w/o looking that much to the credit report, the question is, do they charge a fair amount or one almost imposible to pay back?
Do someone have experience with any of them? What about Lone Mountain in GA? American Trucks in MS? any other that you know? any info will be appreciatted, thanks.

There are several buy here, pay here truck lots around the country. There is one near Chambersburg, PA. You can expect to pay more that the truck is worth and a much higher interest rate at these types of dealers. There is a high risk to the dealer and the prices reflect that risk. The only one that I can recall hearing much about is Lone Mountain. I responses have been good and bad. Any of the buy here, pay here lots will require a large down payment. With some, if you can save enough for the down stroke, you can almost buy a truck and pay cash. Some of the buy here, pay here dealers advertise in The Truck Paper.

We work with drivers that have bad credit all the time, here's our criteria - Criteria for Semi Truck Financing - the fact of the matter the way the economy has been most people have shakey credit as it is. We'd be happy to answer any questions about credit in general - (248) 340-6175 - but to answer the most common; "yes" you can get a truck that will be a great work truck and payments you can manage, but you'll WANT to put a down payment. The "no money down" scams out there look attractive, but cost you money in the long run. David Strand, president of Wholesale Truck and Finance, even outlines it: Leasing a Class 8 Truck with no money down.
Choices; you can finance a truck, do a lease purchase direct from a trucking company (bad), or lease purchase with a company using a third party - which is an option we have as well, we work with some of the top trucking companies in the industry. Third party lease purchases offer you the security of the freight and miles a company can offer, but the knowledge that the truck is leased TO YOU and that if need be you could go and the truck go with you ( of course you'd still need to make those payments ). Let us know if you have any questions. |
