I heard that LSU could do some leapfrogging. How, I don't know, but you hear everything on the radio.
I don't know if Auburn could beat S. Carolina again. That's if they play in the SEC title game.

LSU is the team everybody expects to sneak into the title game and get all the BCS haters fired up again if Oregon or Auburn loses. If the Harris and USA Today polls would give LSU a little more love, they'd be above TCU and within just a few points of Boise. Boise is praying that VT and Nevada keep winning. VT is shooting back up the rankings quickly, the higher they go the better that opening win looks for Boise.

It's crazy, I know that!
I just don't see LSU in it. I know they beat Bama, but man they are so boring to watch.

Boring? The LSU fans would beg to differ with the late game antics/heroics they pull all the time. :-P

I don't know that LSU can get there though, they may pass Boise or TCU, whichever ends up behind the other in the final BCS but they aren't going to pass both. I think the only way LSU sneaks in is if both Auburn and Oregon lose.

LSU has made some big wins. I saw the field goal fake against Florida. That was somethin! It seems like they run the offense in slow motion or something.

They do and it's on purpose. It shortens the game if they can play keep away by taking their merry old time on offense, the only downside is if they do not score when they do have it on offense but the other team does score when they get it. If your going to play keep away, every possession has to produce points, it's the same for the other team, they must produce in the few times they will end up seeing the ball. It also gives the LSU D a good rest period when it's working right.

In checking the scores today, it seems that many of the top teams are struggling.

GMAN, I have always had it in the back of my mind that the schools are getting ready to play their last game, which happens to be their arch rival. Seems like they do struggle right before they play the last one.

I have found myself rooting for Baylor tonight. :hellno:  Looks like Baylor is gonna make OU look like a top ranked team.
I was flipping back and forth from Ohio St and Iowa, and V Tech and Miami this afternoon. Miami sure looked funny with the green helmets.
If Miami could find a good quarterback, they would be hard to stop.
The Hogs need to put this game away.
It looked like Iowa was gonna stop Ohio St and have an upset in their pocket, but Ohio St found a way to win. :hellno:

I didn't see the game at Wrigley Field. Illinois and Northwestern? They said they had to run both teams' offense the same direction because one of the endzones was too close to the wall? I bet that looked funny.

One thing I was gonna bring up. Georgia State.
Thursday, I was looking online to see who was playing. I saw that it was Bama and Georgia St. I was like, who??? I thought maybe I was crazy because I've never heard of Georgia St, and I've watched college football all my life. :hellno: Come to find out, this is their first year of football. They are D 1aa. Bill Curry is Georgia State's coach. Is that the same Bill Curry that is/was a commentator on college games?
