There are people who don't believe but don't have the guts to really say it because of family, friend, the belief that if there is really a God he wil punish you & etc. Believe what you want but religion is a very big business!!! The only way a person can really believe in God and practice his own beliefs is NOT ASK TO ANY REALLY HARD QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BIBLE and just believe everyrthing in it is true no matter how crazy it may sound. I agree.. I was surfing through youtube and come across a guy by the name of James Randie-- I had forgotten about some of the things he has brought out into the open. Exspeacialy when it comes to some of the TV Preachers.

Aside from the dabates offered above.....this was the ending prayer the other week in church and it was so powerful that I thought I'd pass it on:
A Prayer For Children We pray for the children who sneak Popsicles before supper, who erase holes in math workbooks, who throw tantrums in the grocery store and pick at their food, who like ghost stories who can never find their shoes. And we pray for those who stare at photographers from behind barbed wire, who can’t bound down the street in a new pair of sneakers, who are born in places we wouldn’t be caught dead, who never go to the circus, who live in an X-rated world. We pray for children who sleep with the dog and bury the goldfish who bring us sticky kisses and fistfuls of dandelions, who get visits from the tooth fairy, who hug us in a hurry and forget their lunch money. And we pray for those who never got dessert, who have no safe blanket to drag behind them, who watch their parents watch them die, who can’t find any bread to steal, who don’t have any rooms to clean up, whose pictures aren’t on anybody’s dresser, whose monsters are real. We pray for children who spend all their allowance before Tuesday, who shove dirty clothes under the bed, and never rinse out the tub, who don’t like to be kissed in front of the carpool, who squirm in church or temple and scream in the phone, whose tears we sometimes laugh at and whose smiles can make us cry, And we pray for those whose nightmares come in the daytime, who will eat anything, who have never seen a dentist, who aren’t spoiled by anybody, who go to bed hungry and cry themselves to sleep, who live and move, but have no being. Here a clue " if there is a God then why is there all this evil in the world" most common quote. Because of us, we do evil everyday and if you don't think so take a look at the news. It isn't God comin down and killing or stealing or raping people, it is people (men, women, and even more now children). That doesn't mean there is no God. I will not even attempt to speak for Him but his word says this Romans 9:22 What if God wanting to show His wrath and to make know His power, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He has prepared beforehand for glory, What does that mean you ask? God knows the end and allows His people to bare the suffering they will in this life to ultimately bring His glory in Heaven. Why would He do that you ask? Well no one absolutely no one in heave will be there because they are good enough or smart enough or wise enough or read their bible enough or gave enough money or did enough good things. One reason one reason only because He loves you and sent his son to die for you. period. Why can you understand it as a child but as you grow older it is seem to simple to easy that it can't be true. As we grow older we start to think we are wiser and things need to be more complicated to make sense. Im going to give an example of why some times pain is good for us. I have a dog which I love and the feeling is mutual. But me being human I understand disease and what it can do to my dog. It can destroy him or cripple him. So I sit down and dissuce this with desiel( my dog) yeah like the gas) Anyway I tell him I know it will hurt the shots that I must give you but they are for you own good. He licks me and seems to hear what I say. Not he is a dog he doesn't know what I am explaining never the less I take him to the vet and shots he gets. Sure they hurt and he is confused that I would let this pain come on him but I know better than him that it is good for him. This is a crued example but put in the perspective of God (mighty creater of all things) and human (small and seemly insignificant). Hopefully you get the picture I am putting down. Next time you summarize something you might want to read it first then summarize. It is all about beliefs and faith! You believe what you want to believe and I will believe what I want to believe! If you have so much faith (of a mustard seed) pray that God change my heart and cure all the hurt, pain, devastion, disease & etc that is going on in the world! If God has all the power why should we have to deal with the devil all the time! All those things you mentioned in you post. If GOD is a peaceful, loving, compassionate GOD why toy with us! Why let some of the thing continue to happen in this world. Is it tuff LOVE? Why should we as his children have to put up with the Devil! If your child has a friend that is a known felon and is coming to your house tryin to get him to commit a felon wouldn't you stop the felon from coming around! God has all the power so detroy the Devil and make the world a pardise! Excuse my spelling can"t seem to find the spell check function! And boy do I need it!

I see so much of how I used to talk and believe in your writings. I am not going to get into a debate with you on this, but you are entitled to believe what you want and I believe what I believe! God didn't have anything to do with your marriage working. Your married worked because two adults made up in their minds that they wanted their marriage to work and some one if not both changed some of their ways!

All those things you mentioned in you post. If GOD is a peaceful, loving, compassionate GOD why toy with us! Why let some of the thing continue to happen in this world. Is it tuff LOVE? Why should we as his children have to put up with the Devil! In all things, there must be opposition. In other words, to know joy, you must know sorrow. You have to know sickness in order to know health...pain in order to feel pain-free. The list goes on and on. As far as putting up with evil, God doesn't make people do what they do. God grants us our free will to act as we may. Sometimes we'll let temptation get the better of us and other times we will win out over that temptation. In doing so, we progress and we learn. That's what being God's children is all about.

Just for the sake of argument!!!
Why if God is God, allow it to happen? Why --What is the whole purpose? Is it to weed out the weeds? If so He is God He knows all, so what is the diffrence? To teach us humility, patience etc. He is God, with a blink of an eye, we can be that. So why?
