Yes and proud of it.
I'm the one who prays when the truck pulls out the driveway.
And I'm the one giving Thanks to God For His Amazing Grace when that truck pulls in safely from yet another run.
I am the four wheeler on the road with you praying God keep you from any harm. That God will get Grandma out of the hammer lane. And when your slightly over weight the chicken shack is closed. I am the child protected by God when a drunk truck driver ran me off the road and almost killed me. I am Thankful to a God who didn't make me hate all truckers because of it. And I am a trucker's wife with 3 kids sitting home in comfort knowing that my God answered my prayer and is protecting my trucker.
It's hard for me to understand how anybody could get behind the wheel of one of those monsters and not believe in God and seek His protection.
Ride with God And He'll ride with you. Littlesister

Default Of course!!!!

Wouldn't be here if I did not believe in God. Truckers need God with them more than any other profession around. You should keep an angel hanging from the rear view mirror every time you travel.

IMHO, god is no different than Santa Claus. Lets compare.

They are both invisable, nobody has ever seen them.
They both keep track of who is naughty and who is nice.
They both have a punishment for those who are bad.

Why is Santa Clause better?

Santa doesn't require blind devotion. Blind being the key word.
You actually hear from those who were bad.
The rules for Santa are the same everywhere, Religion changes more times than you change underwear

Now let me say this, just because I don't belive in god/religion does not in any way make you more or less of a person if you do as far as I am concerned. Many people feel the need to beilve in something better and greater thans themselfs. That is what helps them deal with events in there life, and if god/religion is what you use, best wishes to you.

I am NOT putting down or diminishing those who belive in anyway.

sounds like Ric has nothing better to post other than making fun of Christians and legitimate posts by others

Unfortunately for those that require proof first they will never get it. The only way to get proof is through testing, but a true test would mean proceeding on the 100% belief in God on faith. 99% belief is not belief, it = doubt. Basically the doubt will prevent you from taking that leap, but because you phsically went through the paces you wouldn't blame yourself for the lack of results.

Default I don't know what "Christian" means anymore

So glad to see this ... 'cause I'm absolutely bewildered at the actions by most people who call themselves, "Christians."

Example: What's all this, "Right to life" stuff when most folks are so full of hate and shaming tactics (better than thou) that when and if that child they're so hell-bent on "saving" ever does come into the world, and it looks or acts a bit differently than they do... then they either want to kill it themselves or make it as miserable as possible!

Seems to me that the brilliant thinking that gave us slogans like, "Kill a Commie fer Christ" are more alive today than they were 30-40 years ago. Seems we are going backwards. Can anyone point out a scripture where Jesus killed somebody for thinking differently than they do?

The piece that kills me is that the same folks trying to tell everybody else how to act are the same ones who have the LEAST control over their own lives.

I've never heard that slogan either and I don't think it would have worked.
