I just spent the last few minutes reading the replies on this Post ~ this is a question that will only be answered ONCE a person crosses-over / pass away / dies / takes their last breath .
But for now, while I'm on this earth breathing and enjoying all that life and nature has to offer me ... I will stand firm in my belief that ~ YES I know for myself that their is a Higher Being ~ what ever name a person wants to call this Power ~ God ~ Almighty ~ Creator ~ etc.. The important thing in my Life is that I believe and that I Do ! I'll not put anyone down for not believing ... but I do ask the same Respect in return . Keep kind thoughts and use soft words when we speak ~ for we've all come from the same place. 4roses

I believe in God, i Don't believe in religion. or rather, i don't put any stock in any religion. those of a religious faith tend to think they are always right when it comes to God.
Every religion was created not by God but by man. The bible did not create God, it simply gave God a name, same with any other form of religious text. However, I could be wrong.

So,,,,,,,I suppose all the bad and ugly things that go on are coincidence and not of his doing? Kind of a double standard isn't it??

just the opposite, for me, God is not an all beauty, all good being, God is everything and nothing. He is the child that smiled as the car crashed into a tree and the family died, he is the mother who sat at home and wept when she heard the news. there is no "good and bad" of it. I think good and bad are human characteristics and don't necessarily carry over into that plane.
But I am my biggest hypocrite cause I don't know these answers, and it is hard to express what is in my heart, which is what I believe. Now I'm not making any sense at all.. argh, I'm done..
