My point was I think it great that people have something to believe in. I don't have a preference and not a believer of god. You will sometimes find me saying things like "Must have pissed the man upstairs off" when having a bad day. But I don't believe in him(her/it) It's great that people have something to believe in(what song is that lyric from?? lol) The other part of the reply was to simply explain my reasons for not believing. Anyone can come up with great explanations on why god does or doesn't exist. I'm one who needs proof. And if no proof is offered, than I lean more to what makes more sense to me. Hope no one was offended.. but like i said.. you can accept it, or reject it Good Luck

 

Serbyy, have you checked out the Religious debate "Hey Fozzy ya wanna debate religion". check it out, can't post on it, but it is interesting reading. You have both side's and in the middle, conversations. this topic only pee's me off when it's forced down my throat. Everyone has the right to their respective opinion and or belief. I hate it when some one has a belief then tears you down for not thinking the same way they do. Sure I have the option of not responding and ignoring them.. but what fun is that :twisted: I'm not gonna force my opinions down any ones throat and would expect the same from everyone else. I feel that if everyone could abide by this... then we could have some great debates... conversations on this subject. And I'll venture over to the fozzy, wanna debate thread.

I am sorry your Pissed Off, if these things piss you off why did you state what you believe or not believe? So being pissed off would be of your own making, for I am not telling you what to believe! I just figured since you made your statement you where interested in what other people felt or thought. Therefore I was just pointing you to a spot where some have expressed this. Enjoy.

I beleive in God because if I didn't beleive in him, I couldn't beleive in anything. I guess I have SOME purpose on this earth. Haven't figured it out yet. But, yeah, I beleive in God 100%

Lets take a step back... I think I responded wrong. I'm not mad at you. Just saying when I talk about this with my friends and other people it peeves me to have relegion shoved down my throat. Personally I believe in God Very much so. I believe his Son died for my sins. I dont attend church as often as I would like, or should, But I know he watches over me and my family daily

That very same thought was going through my head this afternoon!! Just one of those crazy thoughts from about 15 yrs. back....that saying came up in a conversation I was having with someone!!

Well, I am not a Christian, but i do believe in a Higher Power, although my concepts of that Higher Power are quite different from the conventions of major religions.
