Ok greenmachine, Now I understand where you are comming from. So I know a debate is not in order. But I would like a correction of my name it is Slimland Not Slimline.

So you believe in the Old Testament, way of living, according to the Laws of Mosses and whatever else you can find there. So be it. That is your right as a American and as one of Gods people. I do not agree with your views, and that is my right. So we will have to agree to disagree. With that being said, maybe you need to start a thread on your own, with what you believe, I am sure there is others out there with the same notion. Who knows maybe I'll drop in.

So have a good day, you have gotten your point across on this thread, now we need to get back on subject.

Default Thanks Slimland, you're a very fine man

Thank You Slimland for correcting me on your name; I'm sorry that it happened, I'll have to start paying more attention in the future.

I agree, that we should agree, to disagree;
because we both are convinced of what we believe;

but I never mind examinining another view, because that's how we discover whether or not we are still right . . . right ?

Sincerely,

greenmachine

This is true, I kinda wish that you would have stated your position, before this whole thing started, then I would have been a little more understanding, and a little more observant when I commented.

I have no problems with you believing in the Jewish law, for In what I believe if it wern't for tthe Jews rejecting the messiah, then I would have been lost. I have a high respect fot the oracles given to the Jews, and love to study them, if you have any questions concerning the prophecys or how Jesus Christ falls into the make of things, I would be more than happy to do what I can. For God has given me the gift of understanding and teaching His word. But to tell the truth, that scares me, for I am just a man, and I have a lot, and I mean a lot of faults.
Have you ever heard that saying "to much knowledge can make a man go crazy" I realy believe this.

I will start a new thread, so we can discuss these things, for I think a discussion is in order, since we now know where each other stands. I realy think it would be profitable to each of us. So look for the new thread.
I think I will call the thread the "discussion of predestination" so look out for it.

Thanks
Slimland

It sounds like a great idea, Slimland. I'll check into it later, but right now I need to catch up on a couple things that are getting ahead of me.

I'll be talking to you later,

Default Where's it all leading to ??

__________________________________________________ __________

Threats from North Korea, Iran, plus war in Iraq . . . .

More war; world war?
will also speed up global warming,
causing more intense hurricanes, loss of glaciers, sea level rising, ect.

They say if we don't start reversing global warming before ten years it will be irreversible.
According to a report I saw on TV.

Global warming, Hmmm.

I think that is a bunch of junk. Don't get me wrong, what I mean is I have a diffrent out look. In Revelation's durring the Tribulation, There is an Angel that has power over the sun. Durring this time, he God gives him the right to Scorch men, and they still blasphem Him. Now like anything else, this will take time and be a gradual thing, I don't think just one day all the sudden, the sun is going to scorch people. It will be gradual, thus the global warming.

Just a thought.

Global warming is real..... more or less. A person's reaction to this all depends on their mindset and their agenda.

Do I beleive there is global warming? YES!

Do I believe that man had much if anything to do with it? NO!

Do I believe that even if man convinces himself that we are the cause of global warming that anything can be changed? NO!

The way I see it, humans have been on this planet a VERY short time. We have grown into a rather heavy burden to the planet's welfare on the scale that no other organizm can even come close too. We have in the short time we have been here, have discovered many things, we learn more and more about things every day. We can not however find out what happened millions of years ago with the climate, nor where the climate goes from here. The earth has cooled and warmed many times in it's existance. I'm sure it will get warm again. If the earth changes we have one and only one choice and that is to LIVE WITH IT!
