Sorry friend, the metric revolution is here, and they look the same as the HD and the aftermarket products for them is the same as HD for a lot less money... Besides the 150k miles you can put on a new VTX Honda, you will be riding while the HD is in the shop...lol They all have 2 wheels so have fun…lol

You can’t tell the difference; with a pipe they sound the same. Less money, more miles riding without repair its a smart move for the money! Service from the dealer is even less expensive!
Why pay for a name when you can get the same exact look and more power to boot!!!

Better check your facts about american made again. HD sold out to the overseas gang. Honda vtx is a jap bike check out where the parts are made, and where it is assembled, It will shock you!....lol

American bikes are for posers... If you can't drag a knee off of it, its not worth riding!

this is the 1st i hread of H-D sellin out to overseas am going to have to look into that. I know am paying for the name but to me it is a name well worth paying for. Its just something about a HARLEY that i like. A buddy of mine just bought a honda shadow 700cc lol come one you call that a motor. You can see the build diff. and harley has it all over it. But then again that is just that one bike. I really dont know nothing about jap bikes.

They’re no longer a all American bike, remember the out sourcing that is talked about on so many threads here?? Think about it, get parts made overseas and still sell for an ungodly amount of money, go figure...lol And to top it off there made to break!!

8) Yea, well mackman that is the way I`ve always felt, until I saw a custom built RoadStar by Yamaha! Check it out at on the Yamaha web site, go to motorcycles then to Star. Right now they have the last 10 years showing the calender of Customs, I will never be a convert, but, like I said earlier if I was going to build another Custom!. It would be a RoadStar.
