Unhappy Any Feed Back about PAM Transport & Driver Solutions & RoadMasters

I'd like to know if anyone has ever dealt with Pam Transportation and Driver Solutions ? (CDL training company for PAM and USA Transport )
or Roadmasters Training School ?

If so I'd like to know if they are worth my time ? :P
I've spoken with a guy named David who works for Driver Solutions, We've been playing tag for going on 2 months, I've also been playing tag
with people at Roadmaster's training here in NC, It's very frustrating when you speak with someone via email,Phone and they are too damn busy
to take the time and help answer questions, or never Re turn any calls!

Is this normal for people to act like this while trying to run a company? wow ! when I ran my own company I made damn sure I took the time to get back with
everyone ,Just wondering ...

If they are acting like that I'd stay away from them.

Honestly I thought PAM was no more until last week when I passed a truck of theirs. From what I last saw of them their pay was on the very low end of the scale and their equipment looks very ragtag.

Oh wow, Yes I found out today., Week one I'd get like 550$, 2nd week of training 680$ 3rd week of training 0.12c a mile, then 4th it goes up to like .020 ish
I drove from NC to Katy Texas a few weeks ago, I seen 1 PAM truck, and 157 swift trucks. Just to give an idea.On my drive back from Texas to NC 0 PAM trucks
HAHA I thought Ok, Maybe I'm just in the wrong area, maybe they only drive in such in such area's etc., .

I thank you for your time and input ,Safe travels

There are other companies out there that would train you, I think USA Trucking is one of them. Thats the bad part of the "New Trucking Industry" , we are over worked, over regulated, and paid like crap!

I would try a search for training type companies and see who else trains. Also be very carefull of "Who" is tgraining you being a woman is tough in this industry I have heard horror stories about trainers and female trainies!

Good luck!

Do you, would you like to train me? haha /joking/

I-10 and the "East Coast" are not PAM's usually lanes. They are thicker than Thieves from Laredo up thru Little Rock and on into Chicago and across to Cleveland. I forget what all trucking companies PAM owns, but there are a half dozen or so.

One you might look into, being as you are in North Carolina would be Abilene Motor Express. They are a US Xpress company now, but still better than PAM and more likely to get you out and back more often.

I've not heard anything bad about Roadmaster, and I know one person who went to their school in FL.
As for companies, I don't know much about PAM. I've seen newer equipment of theirs lately, but they're rare here in VA.
I second the recommendation for Abliene. They're based in Richmond, VA and they have a small yard in Wytheville, on I-77/81. They're mostly Volvo's (if not all Volvo).
Now if you want to work your butt off by unloading, in addition to driving, there's the Dollar General account in South Boston, VA (Werner and Swift are there and train. Ruan is there and doesn't train.).
