WOO! WOO! My husband dropped his load and picked up another one! He is on his way to Loveland Colorado just outside of Denver! He will not have to drive to LA or anything tomorrow in that nasty traffic from the holiday weekend.

He is planning on driving 400 miles today. And finish it up tomorrow.

This load is due Tuesday morning and the total trip is 789 miles.

If he does 400 miles today this week from last Monday (when he just left home in the afternoon) until today he will have 2,575 miles in.

Things are good!

Even better he got one out today before the bad traffic tomorrow! Las Vegas is a zoo on three day holidays and that traffic tomorrow is going to be nasty!

He is going to miss it!!

I turned in my truck, but im still on file for when i return. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital for pnemonia, but we think something else is wrong, plus my cousin just got diagnosed with cancer a day after an we havent told my gramps so alot of family issues right now. if you run a loop, you get paid by the mile still, just more hometime cuz they will run you till your 70 and you can take your 34 at home or stop by the house whenever. Miles might be less, unless your on the hermistan loop, but youll still bring home good money.

As long as my husband works there and people read this thread I will not let it die!

Are you still doing the local thing? Do you like it?

Wow! I am sorry to hear that you are having such family problems. How long will you be off? Was May Trucking good about it?

Do you know if there are loops up our way? Where does the Hermistan loop go?

I hope all goes well with your family!

Take Care,

I should ask about coming back and running the Hermiston loop. I'm 45 minutes from there.

My husband is in the Denver Colorado area. He will more than likely stay there tonight! He is only about 30 miles away from where he needs to drop his load tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.

Yesterday he was in awe at the sites he saw off of I-70 in Utah. He said there were breathtaking rock formations. He said that coming into Colorado through that area was also really nice.

We still do not know where his next load will take him. I guess we will find out tomorrow.
