Problem is Ron won't adopt her out and "Houston we have a problem". He is thinking about doing May's lease-purchase at three months. Have to find out more about this. We were owner ops for three years prior to going with KKW, and had an auto transport rig so we know the ropes so to speak. We are relocating end of year to Vancouver, WA and will probably rent for a couple of years before buying again. We need a write off badly and this will do it for us. Just have to see if the numbers are positive enough to pay the bills. For some drivers a lease-purchase makes sense, especially for taxes, and at end of lease he will own it. Then can run it for maybe four years and trade it in. Don't have the money or credit to get outside financing right now so this may work for us. Stay tuned, will share when we get there!

Well three months won't be long until Sprocket can ride with him! Tell her she will just have to behave and wait!

It sounds like you have a good plan! And I hope it all works out. You will have to update the thread and inform us how the lease program works out.

I hope you are enjoying hubbys time off!

Take Care,

I once had a Rat Terrier for a day. It was in the street so I picked it up until I found the owner. My cats were not a bit intimidated by it. I don't think they knew it was a dog. They were following it trying to figure out what it was.

She was twelve years old deaf, and blind in one eye so very mellow. I could see her riding in a truck.

My husband is in Baker City Oregon! Tomorrow he will drive around three hours to Wood Village, Oregon. His load is due to be in at 5:00 p.m. but it does state on the order that he may drop it off an hour early. He will be there at 4:00 sharp as I was informed that at 5:00 tomorrow the first major football game of the season starts at 5:00.

He will be even happier when it is football season as he is a fan I am not. I can only handle so much. So he can listen to his hearts content while he is on the road :P What a life drive and listen to his football games and get paid for it!

You're using maps.google.com when you talk with him about locations, right?

The maps are incredible. Combined with an internet search and yellowpages.com , you can find almost anything and find it easily.

You could easily guide him into a shipper/reciever using the mpas. Mind the low clearances.

Default radio

Hey Goin Fer It's Wife, does your husband have a sattelte radio? I noticed you said that he's a big NFL fan. When I drove I had a Sirius sattelite radio. Sirius has the NFL contract to broadcast all the games. I loved it, kept up on all kinds of football stuff when I was OTR. If he doesn't have one, tell him to look into it. I would've died without it! Just a thought.

Oh yes! When he decided to go into to trucking he got one for his birthday in June! This way I know he will not miss me and the kids too much if he has the company of his Sirius radio and football games.

He made sure to let us know about Sirius and the contract with NFL!

Are you still driving?
