Brooks is the only dry terminal, the rest are all refer terminals.
My husband did say the inside of the 379 is small. Do the 387's have the mufflers also? I still don't know what he ended up with just waiting to hear from him.

My husband will be getting a Pete 387. Not a new one. They are detailing it now. It does have the pipes on the side but he is okay with that. The person that was in it before was a smoker but my husband said that it is okay they will get the smell out if not he can. He does not smoke. He is the smart one I am not I still smoke but not in the house or in the car with the children.

He said the truck is clean not dented up. His truck number is 4082.

he got a 379 then, those have the mufflers on the side. The 387's have the mufflers in the back middle of the tractor and are for senior drivers for now., but if he got one of those thats awesome, plenty of room in the sleeper and really good jakes. The 387"s start around 4200, 387's 4000, Volvos 3100's and im not sure about the freightliners. Ill probly run into him soon, we do alot of I-5 always routing you through brooks.

Well my husband just called and I have to correct that he got a 378 that is the same as a 379 but a short nose version. He is okay with it. But he does want to eventually get into a 387 as does most everyone I guess.

I think after school and training and everything else he is just happy to have keys to a truck and be solo.

Some more information about the truck. It is a 2005 378 with 250,000 miles on it. He likes it! I hope you get one you like soon!

You and Colin have been the only post really other than mine on this thread and I thank you for it. Sometimes it gets discouraging only seeing all of your own post every time you log on. I am glad that they show the views or I would thought that no one was interested in reading about May Trucking Company.

The Dispatcher told my husband they would try and get him routed home and that he may get a load tomorrow morning. So now we will wait and see. He is busy washing the outside of his truck now. He said they did a nice job detailing the inside. Smoke smell is all gone and it shiny and pretty.

After he washes the outside he will send me a picture via cell phone.
