Although, I was stopped at a rest area south of Boston on I-95 and everything was crazy expensive (as expected), but Subway was normally priced. I was very surprised.

Near $3 for a Whopper? Puh-lease.

 

NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY SO MANY SCHNIEDER TRUCKS BLACK OUT THEIR PHONE NUMBER

Someone called me in.. I think it was the guy who came flying around the corner and had to stop since i was already pulling out into the road, very slowly since these damn central trucks are so underpowered for what we haul. I was fully loaded with meat so pulling uphill from the driveway to the road and then uphill over the overpass I was SLOW trying to get back on the interstate from the truck stop. I was there for 2 hours before eating and thats the only 'stop sign' I could have allegedly ran right through as the driver claimed.

The safety dept. will not answer me when I ask them where and when this was said to happen. They said that the driver also called the police and the police where apparently looking for me. *sigh* Basically said that if I value my 'career' I shouldn't let this happen again.

Also as I'm trying to sleep some lady is banging on my door about how her grandma had a heart attack like.. 12 miles down the road and she needs a ride and I'm her last only hope.

not bad considering I forgot to turn in any trip packs that week, doh ops:

Anyways that is one trip from california to washington. Not horrible for 2 days work. Also the HR dept. deducted too much stuff from my pay so I'm getting credits on my next paycheck woohoo, so next week I should finally get a big paycheck!
