Ok so I heard back from safety and got then when and where, the where was right after i left a truck stop, after being there for 2 1/2 hours eating dinner. and there was not a single stop sign between the truck stop and the interstate. and i got the message from safety on the interstate before I pulled off anywhere. so yeah impossible for me to have ran any stop sign before I got the message and after they got the call. Anyways safety thanked me for getting in touch with them about the situation and said just to be more careful in the future.. I don't think they are going to do anything besides maybe put a note on my file about it because they didn't say anything was going to happen with me.
I think i have a knack for finding accidents, in the last 2 nights I have got stuck behind 3 accidents that closed down all lanes of traffic for several hours. (one lasted all day) so yeah i've spent allot of time in truckstops hehe but somehow i'm still on time, either I'm getting better at managing my time or my fleet manager is not expecting miracles out of me anymore. I am now on my way to texas where the flooding is (was?) Oh also my backing is going worse.. I can back up and push my trailer around fine, but I am getting worse and worse at my setups, and am getting really bad at positioning myself when i do a pull up... I'll be backing in, need to pull up a little and then go to back again and be worse off than when I started, arg.. I used to joke with my trainer that I could drive this thing better going backwards than forwards and i think its becoming more true. at least as far as getting into spaces is concerned. I am just glad that grocery warehouses have plenty of room to maneuver around so i can start over from scratch easily when i really mess myself up.

HA! bwahahahahahaha!!!
Oh dear, that's funny. Just wait until you find a nice dock built back when short WB tractors and 40 something foot trailers were the standard. Some have not upgraded their yards.

Colin, haven't hit those yet but I got a few very tight drop yards when I was in training. Oh and truck stops, everyone parks in non parking spaces making it so hard to get into the real ones. Also no matter how early i try to get to a truck stop they are filled up, do you have to like shut down at noon to get a decent parking spot?
skull, I have noticed a few J.B. HUNT trucks doing the same thing! Our trailers also have our number really big down both sides though so, I would have to do that to and that might really piss some ppl at my company off... They could probably figure out it was me to since central is super anal about tracking trailers.

 As a new hire at the MIGHTY PUMPKIN (Schneider) Your issued ORANGE BOXER Shorts (with pumpkins on them) YOU MUST wear them at customers. An Orange Thong is acceptable for female drivers IF A PUMPKIN is on the front.
