All kinds of freight. 90% of it will be coming back to the Clarksville location.
They also pull reefer for egg loads out of Seymour to Krpger warehouse in Atlanta. I learned to avoid this run  . Then they do their best to bring the reefer back asap. Loaded or empty, they don't care. They just want it returned.
Customer base....hmmm.....from what I remember....Ann Taylor, Circuit City (yard to Bethlehem, Pa mostly), Dupont, and lots of Peanuts from Georgia. Hope your hubby likes peanuts
Most all customers are located in and around Louisville. Normally, the city drivers deliver from the yard.

Some driver have also delivered coins from the San Francisco mint to LA. sometimes a nice dedicated run comes along, but there are very few of them.

I just had a buddy start to go through orientation this week. It's not looking good. He and his friend was promised a UPS dedicated route to Utah and back. Doesn't look like Summitt can make that promise now.
The trucks have been slowed down to 65 mph from 70. Nobody in recruiting seems to know what is going on, and they won't talk. Slowing the trucks down without a pay increase is going to make many of their drivers quit. Oh, well
