Default 13-speed tranny rattles in 5th gear

I had my 13 speed rebuilt a year ago from 16913 to 18913 to allow increase in the engine torque. The gear shop also replaced a couple of worn bearings. But the syncro was still grinding occasionally(when shifting from Low to High... and the rebuild didn't help. Now a couple of days ago the tranny started making a pronounced rattling noise. It only happens in 5th LOW gear when the truck is moving and I take my foot off the accelerator. As soon as I add fuel, the noise disappears. Everything is okay in other gears, including driving at highway speeds. Is this the syncro problem? If anyone had this before ... how serious is this thing? I'm on a delivery 1500 miles away from home and I'd like to take the truck to the same gearshop back home where I did the rebuild. I don't want to do repairs on the road if I can help it. Thanks!

In case someone hears the same rattling sound from their tranny: I had the International dealer in Fargo, ND look into this and they found that a tooth on one of the gears had broken off. That was causing the rattling noise. It wasn't the synchronizer at all.

No, I"m having them fix it here. I was afraid if I started driving with a load I might do more damage. Will know the amount owing by the end of today. Already booked a load tomorrow out of Iowa, heading to Ontario.
