Default 2003 International 9200

I got a female friend who drives for CRST, she has a 2003 International 9200 with a super 10 and a 425hp Cummins ISX I think. It has 820,148 miles on it. Problem is when she accelerates it runs rough and wants to chokes up then it kicks in and gets going. She told me she is getting 7.3 with it, I told her it could be bad fuel, fuel injectors going south, or fuel filter clogged up. With the amount of miles she has put on the truck I told her she may want to put it on the computer and maybe get an overhead ran on it if nothing else. I don't think it's been touched except for PM's. I'm just curious if we're overlooking a possible problem or what? She also told she believes she hears it knocks too, could that be a sign of water in the fuel?

Thanks y'all!!!!!!!

That was what I was thinking, but there a Volvo in a fleet where I use to work at was a 03 (newer style midroof) with the freedomline autoshift, when the egr valve stopped up on it he could only do 55 and it was billowing clouds of white smoke.

Yep I've seen the same problem you described with the Volvo when the EGR's stoped up on two trucks that I know of.

Being it is a fleet truck why dosen't she just call the shop and tell them what is going on.

Found out it was a bad air compressor.

How about that for coming out of left field!

Hopefully it's fixed.
