Default Air Brakes Refresher course for anyone?

Who would like one? If so, I will give one here, on this post, you can ask questions as we go along. It would be pretty much the same thing I offer in my classroom. But here, I wont charge you a thing.

I would love to get air brake certified. I'm already doing brake work, but would love to learn more

Usually, it takes about 16 hours of classroom to cover most things. I will do this in installments, so it will take several days.

I will write something one night, then leave a few days for responses and explanations.

I will start the first installment tomorrow night.

I will be difficult to do some of it, as it takes an air board for demonstrations and to show what happens when something is not working.

It will be an experiment, as I have never taught online before and without being able to point at something and saying, here it is.

Make sure you ask lots of questions and if I do not know the answer, I will find out what it is and share it with you.

Have fun.

There will be a written test.......I will email it anyone who wants to do it.

I have found an image of an airboard. Thought it might be useful if there was anyway to utilize it. I guess it may be possible to edit the image to show key components. Let me know if this can be any use to your lesson.

Let me have a look at it. There is a manual that I use for the course, and it is available online, so we will be using it also. I will want everyone to download it, it is a PDF document, so everyone will have to be able to read it. I will reference page numbers.

This is going to be an interesting experiment.
