You could also just add about 12-18" of rubber hose to the ends of your existing red/blue hoses. They do make good or should I say better red/blue coily hose but they are hard to come by. you can buy the proper hose, fittings (compression fittings eliminate the need for crimping tools), and glad hands all at the truck parts store and assemble it yourself; professionally, and legally

air brake systems require dot certified hose, fittings, etc..
True, if it doesn't say DOT on it, it could be a problem, ya never know when some rookie DOT in training decides to check it. Get the RIGHT stuff the first time. |
