The Detroit I just got out of, has been in the shop about every third week, on the average. About one forth of those trips into the shop were for PM service. One forth, for problems with the truck, including tires. The rest have been for problems with the engine. Injectors, EGR, fuel in the radiator, you name it. Good thing it's a company truck. I would never have made a dime with it. And, the company is switching their fleet from Detroit to Cummins. Detroit turned out to be bad news for them too.
