Default Qualcomm Locked While In Motion

The company I work for just put me in a different truck and in this one the qualcomm can not be used while the truck is in motion. When mentioned that this was not the case in my truck, they're responce was, "Well it should have been".
My question is, is there a way to make the qualcomm usable while I'm driving again?
I like not having to stop every time a message is sent to me.

Thanks for looking...

It is programmed through the satellite connection. When I was with swift only teams and trainers had unlocked QC.

Shaffer does the same thing. only team trucks can use qualcomm while moving, you can not change it yourself.. you shouldnt be looking at it while driving anyway, it only takes a second for something to happen

that QualComm is quite literally plugged right into the ECM, it can and does give the company live feed of all data from the ECM, any sensor on that engine, they can see it live, this includes all the info you can possibly gleam from your dash, as well as a lot of other info you cannot see yourself. On some trucks (volvos specifically), they even have lateral G-Force sensors, and can tell exactly how 'hard' you are taking curves, and calculate how close you come to rolling over. Now that does not mean they are going to sit there and watch live every little thing your truck and you are doing, but they can, and it is all logged on a remote server somewhere. Also they can change some ECM parameters on the engine itself right from the QC over the satellite link, it depends on the truck and the QC units programming. Don't think disconnecting that satellite dish will cut off communication either, most QC's have built in cell phone system for backup, so if you for instance steal a truck and disconnect the satellite, it can still communicate. Plus the unit you have in the truck is not the actual computer of the QC either, it is just a keyboard and a display, the actual computer is usually hidden under the bunk, kind of looks like an AMP. EVEN if you disconnect all wirings going to the brains of the system, it STILL has internal batteries, and I believe can stay active and transmit GPS signalling for a few weeks. I know on swift trucks if you disconnect the QC wiring going to the ECM you will not be able to even start the truck (I did this by accident one day when I was fixing something with my batteries).

Is that code for the "jumper cable hooked to my inverter came off so I had to put it back on?"

they hook it up that was so you cannot type or use the keyboard going down the road.they can also disable that in the system.we had some disabled by accident, and never knew it.neither did the drivers.
