Sounds like installer error or something is wrong with the wheel.

Michelin tires are pretty well known to be the best.

I have almost 250,000 miles on a set of XZA3's.

yes, lack of lubricant on the tire bead

Yup, That's what I found out- another tire dealer so somebody (I don't remember) told me to check that, and sure enough, that was it. What tee'd me off about michelin was the fact that I bought their product and for what ever reason had a problem, and they were completely unwilling to help me solve it. And like I said, saying "michelin doesn't make a defective tire" is the same as saying "you have no warranty". What if the damned thing HAD been bad.

Anyway, mounting my own tires was such a pain I eventually stopped doing it. I don't even remember why I started that in the first place...

I've never had any luck with any Michelin warranty so that and a delivery to a Michelin plant in Texas has guaranteed that I will never buy another piece of Michelin garbage again.

not because their customers take turns too fast in their (balloon tired) SUVs, i hope ;0)
