Default Sell Me On Sirus

A lot of drivers these days use sirus, and our drivers swear by it. I guess once hooked no one goes back. Why? I listen mostly to audio books, is there a channel that has these? Other than news, talk, music, comedy, etc., what else is there on Sirus?

I was hooked, and gave it up about a year and a half ago. I don't really miss it all that much, but then again, I don't listen to the radio either.

If you listen to audio books, find a Sirius (or XM) unit that will also play mp3's that are stored on a removable drive (same as a digital camera). My XM player has this feature and I love it. Then you can listen to both the satellite radio or to your saved audio books.

I've had a Sirius for a couple of years and won't drive a truck without one. I ran up through Canada over the Great Lakes where there were not any radio stations and the Siruis kept me sane. Nothing like listening to talk radio, the oldies station, Old radio shows, Business channel and sometimes music ( not big into music ) without losing the station every 20 min and having to hunt for a new one. I love mine.
