They're all good when they're running, and when they're broke down none of them are worth a crap.
That said, my opinion is that Mack is the best. (Even though I'm working on Internationals nowadays)

1) Peterbilt
2) Freightliner 3) International 4) Volvo (I have had a run of bad luck with them)

Everyone has their own opinions on this... I only own CATs and only Petes (359 or 379) or KWs (W900), PERIOD
I wouldn't take a free Freightliner, Volvo or anything with a Detroit... would leave trucking if that was my only option. Then again, some people love green motors and plastic trucks... to each their own.
