Job Overview: We are seeking dedicated Doubles Drivers to join our Family Dollar team in Front Royal, VA. You’ll run regional routes to VA, NC, DC, PA, NJ, MD, DE, and WV, all within 700 miles of the Front Royal distribution center. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual unloads of 48-53’ trailers at Family Dollar stores (1-6 stops per trailer).
• Deliver to regional locations within 700 miles of Front Royal.
• Maintain excellent customer service skills with store personnel.
• Hard backing required for store deliveries.
• Follow all safety and operational procedures during unloads and deliveries.

Schedule & Home Time:

• Weekly Home Time: 34-hour reset at home each week.
• Night, weekend, and holiday runs are part of the work schedule, with a minimum of 3 loads per week.

Compensation Breakdown:

• Mileage Pay:
  • 0-12 months: $0.60/mile
  • 12-24 months: $0.61/mile
    (Increases up to $0.73/mile based on experience)
• Unload Pay: $250 for full trailer, $125 per pup trailer.
• Doubles Pay: $35 per set.
• Weekly Unload Incentive: $125 for 3 loads per week.
• Backhaul Pay: $35 per load.
• Top Pay: Industry-leading pay for drivers running 1,500 miles and 3 loads, with an average weekly gross of $1,725.
• Top Earners: The top 10% of drivers can earn up to $2,800 weekly.
• Incentives: Additional $125 weekly incentive for full availability.
• Tenured Support: Experienced staff at the distribution center and 24/7 fleet coverage.

Vacation Benefits:

• 1 week paid vacation after 1 year on the account.
• 2 weeks paid vacation after 2 years.
• 3 weeks paid vacation after 7 years.

Requirements:

• Orientation & Training:Experience Required: CDL-A with doubles endorsement
• Location: Front Royal, VA
• Freight Type: 100% Manual Unload (Doubles Trailers)

You’ll start with a short orientation in Atlanta for doubles training. After that, you'll join a ride-along with an experienced driver for up to 5 days (paid at $150 per day) to learn the unload process. Once completed, you'll be assigned a tractor and start running your own loads.
