Local Truck Driver CDL B and/or CDL A Delivery

Company has been a family-owned business since 1976 providing ice cream and other products to local grocery stores and other end users. Due to continued growth we are currently accepting applications for a Local Truck Driver CDL B and/or CDL A Delivery to work in our facility within 30 miles Cedarburg, WI.

Compensation

• Hourly pay $24.00/hour
• Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
• Typical work week is 40-45 hours per week
• Bi-weekly paychecks

• Eligibility after 60 days of employment

• Monday-Friday, some weekends as needed
• Start times vary, typically between 5:00am-7:30am, work until work is completed
• Touch freight delivery; driver unload using pallet jacks, 2-wheel hand-cart and lift-gate.
• Work scheduled may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule.
• Some vacation coverage for route drivers, some overnights may be needed.

• Drive CDL A and B trucks to transport products to specific route destinations
• Touch freight, using 2-wheel hand-cart, dolly and lift gate to load and unload trucks
• Provide excellent customer service
• Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
• Reporting maintenance/repair issues on straight truck

• Must have 1 year of verifiable CDL experience (combination of CDL A & B acceptable).
• Foodservice route delivery experience required.
• Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement.
• Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical.
• Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
• Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance.
