Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local CDL A Truck Driver Route Delivery $5K Bonus to work within 30 miles of the distribution warehouse in Frankfort, IN.

Compensation

Average annual salary $85,000 per year which includes:

• $5,500 sign-on bonus, paid quarterly
• Activity-based pay (miles, stops, pallet return, etc.)
• Typically 1200-1600 miles per week
• Work 50-60 hours per week.

Work Schedule

• This is a 24/7 delivery operation; some routes include weekends and/or Holidays
• Routes awarded by bidding board, based on seniority
• Work days and start times will vary; work until work is completed, typically 10-14 hours per day
• No layovers, home every day
• Make 5-10 stops per day; deliveries are 300 mile radius of Beloit, WI
• Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Route delivery, driver unload, lift-gate, pallet jack, curve ramp, and 2-wheel hand cart
• Touch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to warehouses and end-users
• Drive CDL A day cabs with 36'-53' trailers to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations
• Secure pallets using straps. Strap and unstrap at each delivery.
• Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance
• Provide excellent customer service
• Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
• Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers

Requirements

• Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement.
• Minimum 1 year CDL A driving experience required
• Prior local route delivery experience highly preferred, including local, multiple-stop delivery using hand-cart, ramp, pallet jack
• Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen
• Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
• Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
• Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical
• Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
