Local Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery $2,500 Sign on Bonus!

Company has been in business for over 60 years providing fresh, organic, cage-free eggs to local grocery stores and other end users. Due to continued growth we are currently accepting applications for a Local CDL A Route Delivery Driver to work in our Lind, WA facility.
Compensation
- Average annual salary around $75,000-$85,000 per year, which includes:
- Pay is by route and averages $30.55/hour
- $2,500 sign on bonus- $1,250 paid out after 2 weeks of employment and $1,250 paid out after 6 months
- Typical work week is 50-60 hours per week; no overtime
- Bi-weekly paychecks

Work Schedule
- Trucking Operations run 7 days per week with AM and PM runs and involve holidays. Driver Schedules are typically 5 days on and two days off.
- Start times vary depending on the run but driver schedules are generally kept consistent week to week.
- Home daily, no overnights
- Make 1-2 stops per day
- Local Drop & Hook deliveries, with occasional touch freight using pallet jack.
- Most equipment is 53’ refrigerated trailers but the fleet makeup also includes agricultural trailers such as feed tankers, and belt trailers are part of operations.
- Drivers may run a combination of equipment types in their schedule
Responsibilities
- Drive CDL trucks to transport products to specific route destinations
- Drop & Hook deliveries, with occasional touch freight
- Provide excellent customer service
- Monitor product condition and temperature when required to ensure product quality at time of delivery
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle with pre and post trip inspections
- Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers
- Process paperwork for customer deliveries as required
- Complete electronic hours of service logs as an interstate driver
- Snow chaining is sometimes required during the winter. Chaining is part of the job but also compensated in addition to driving when chaining is required
Requirements
- Must have 1 year of verifiable CDL A experience
- Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical
- Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License. A plus having doubles and tanker endorsements
- Be in good physical condition, able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull for extended periods, with normal use of senses
- Able to work in all types of environments and sometimes in challenging weather conditions; hot, cold, snow dust, etc.
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Able to read, speak, write, and understand English
