Join our team as a CDL-A Driver for a dedicated Auto Parts account, delivering to CarQuest stores throughout Southern California. This position offers home daily schedules with a mix of overnight and daytime deliveries. Drivers will utilize electric pallet jacks on lift gate trailers, averaging 1,575 miles and 40 stops per week.

Job Highlights:

• Hiring Area: 50-mile radius of San Bernardino, CA
• Lanes: Routes within Southern California
• Miles: Average 1,575 miles per week with around 40 stops per week

Schedule & Home Time:

• Overnight Deliveries: Monday-Friday, from 8:30 pm to 7-8 am
• Day Routes: Start between 2 am and 5 am, running until approximately 3 - 4 pm
• Home Time: Daily, with weekends off!

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay: $28.00 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $42.00 per hour after 8 hours, $56.00 per hour after 12 hours
• Annual Pay: Average $70,000 per year
• Layover Pay: $70 per night for 10-hour layovers

Requirements:

• Experience: 12 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• Endorsements: Hazmat endorsement required
• Driving Conditions: Must be comfortable with night driving and chaining tires for routes like Big Bear

Equipment & Freight:

• Equipment: We are updating to 2018+ Kenworth and Freightliner trucks, with some 2015 Volvos still in use. Manual or automatic transmission, equipped with Pre-Pass and EZ Pass.
• No-touch freight: Unload using electric pallet jacks at CarQuest stores with unattended stops. Drivers will use a route book containing all delivery information, including alarm codes and keys. Drivers will also pick up returns as needed.
• Truck Speed: 62 mph on pedal, 65 mph on cruise for newer trucks

Parking & Facilities:

• Parking: At the distribution center in San Bernardino, CA
• Other: No pets or passengers allowed. Drivers must be comfortable with both night and day shifts.
