Key Benefits:
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 (Paid $750 after weeks 1 & 2, plus $500 at 6 months)
- Equipment: Mack Pinnacles and Anthem tractors, most with 12-speed automatic transmissions (average age 5 years)
- Truck Features: All trucks equipped with inverters and APU systems
- Truck Assignment: Permanently assigned trucks, with the option to take them home for time off (no parking at truck stops)
- Drop & Hook: 65% of loads are drop and hook
- No Touch Freight: 99% of loads are no touch
- Hazmat Loads: 10% of freight requires Hazmat
- Running Areas: Primarily Midwest
- Miles: Average 2,200-2,400 miles per week, with average hauls of 450-500 miles
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,250 to $2,000
- Home Time Options:
- Home Weekly: Out for 5 days, home for 2 days.
- Midweek Reset: Work weekends and take a 34-hour reset during the week.
- OTR 15/3: Out for 15 days, home for 3 days.
- OTR 23/5: Out for 23 days, home for 5 full days.
- Pay Frequency: Every Friday via direct deposit
- EZ Pass/Pre-Pass Provided: Yes
- Paid Orientation: $300 (2.5 days, includes lodging at Microtel Inn & Suites, meals provided for breakfast and lunch, and travel by bus)
- Detention Pay: After 2 hours, 25% of what's paid ($15/hour)
- 401(k) Retirement Plan: IRA available
- Health Insurance: Full family coverage at $0/month, starts after 90 days
- Minimum Age: 23 years old
- Experience:At least 6 months of tractor-trailer OTR experience within the last year
- Reefer/flatbed experience required if running those loads
- Moving Violations: Maximum of 2 in a 3-year period
- DOT Recordable Accidents: Maximum of 2 in the last 3 years
- Hiring Areas: We are currently seeking drivers who live in optimal locations, including IA, IL, and IN.
- Please note, we are not accepting applicants from Chicago or its suburbs.
- Freight Type: The majority of freight consists of food products for clients such as General Mills, Cargill, Conagra, and P&G.
