Job Overview: We are seeking Flex CDL Drivers based within 50 miles of Alpharetta, GA. As a Flex Driver, you'll fill in for drivers who are on vacation or out sick, running solo and team routes. This role consists primarily of team driving (90% of the time) delivering aftermarket parts like hoods, bumpers, and doors to Honda dealerships across the southeastern U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

• Flex between solo and team driving, with 90% of routes run as a team.
• Deliver automotive parts to dealerships, including unloading trailers, scanning new loads, and picking up returns.
• Maneuver tractor-trailers in tight dealership spaces.
• Handle and secure roller cages and boxed parts, with frequent lifting (40-75 lbs.).
• Team driving involves working nights, unlocking and locking dealership gates, and performing unsupervised deliveries.

Lanes:

• Serving dealerships in GA, AL, MS, TN, FL, NC, SC.

Miles:

• Solo: 1,800 miles/week, with an average of 6 stops daily.
• Team: 3,950 miles/week, with an average of 7 stops daily.

Schedule:

• Monday-Saturday with varied start times between 22:00 to 16:00.
• Home Time:
  • Team drivers: Home weekly.
  • Solo drivers: Home daily.

Pay & Bonuses:

• Solo Pay: $0.49 CPM with a guaranteed minimum weekly pay of $1,350. $70k/year
  • Mileage increases by $0.005 every 6 months until reaching top pay of $0.545 CPM.
• Team Pay: $0.37 CPM with a guaranteed minimum weekly pay of $1,550. $80K/year
  • Mileage increases by $0.005 every 6 months until reaching top pay of $0.40 CPM.
• Stop Pay: Solo - $13.00 per stop; Team - $7.50 per stop.
• Delay Pay: $18.79/hour for solo and $9.27/hour for team after 15 minutes of free time.
• Bonuses:
• New Hire Transition Bonus: $500 (paid in full on the second paycheck).
• Referral Bonus: $3,000 (paid in increments of $1,000 after the second paycheck, 60 days, and 120 days).

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 12 months of recent tractor-trailer experience required, with proficiency in tight backing maneuvers (dealership delivery experience preferred).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and handle 40-75 lbs. The role involves positioning delivery roller cages and loading/unloading loose parts both on the trailer and inside dealerships.
• Willingness to Team: Drivers must be willing to run team routes 90% of the time.
• Hiring Area: Within a 50-mile radius of Alpharetta, GA.

Equipment:

• 2020-2022 Freightliner/International trucks with automatic transmissions, Pre-Pass, EZ Pass, and 28’/48’ dry vans with lift gates.

Freight Type:

• Touch freight: Delivering loose automotive parts, roller cages, and totes.
