RE: Independent Driver (IC) Compensation
We are excited to announce the following pay rate increases for Solo ICs and IC Teams.

Solo ICs who originate at the J1 J6 or J9 facilities and who deliver in one of the six designated New England states (Maine Massachusetts Connecticut Vermont New Hampshire Rhode Island) and the trip finals at J1 J6 or J9 will be paid $1.00/mile excluding Canada.

Solo ICs who originate at the J6 facility and deliver to the defined J1 or J9 local zip codes as follows: 070 to 089 090 to 119 170 to 171 and 173 to 196 and the trip finals at J1 or J9 will be paid at $1.00/mile excluding Canada.

Additionally all IC Teams will receive a $0.08 increase per mile per truck.

These changes are being implemented because Jevic values your contribution to the organization and is committed to paying you at the top tier of the industry. Please note these rate increases are effective Sunday November 7 2004.
